Yanira is a PhD student in the BCMB Allied Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is co-mentored in the Davis Lab and the Elemento Lab.

Yanira received a Bachelor’s in Biology at Williams College and a Master’s in Tumor Biology at Georgetown University.

When not in the lab she enjoys running, having picnics in central park, and playing with her Golden Retriever, Maya.
